Stryper - The Way (backing track, no solos or vocals) by DC Vision Studios

Stryper are 1 of my earliest influences! I used to listen to them every morning on the way to school in '85 and '86! I remember riding in the back of a Lincoln town car in '85 driving through the desert from Laughlin, Nevada all the way to Vegas with my Les Paul (cream colored '58 in the bridge), my rockman, a MXR distortion + and my trusty little tape player jammin to Soldiers Under Command over and over trying to learn that stuff!! WOW, some great times then!!! I never lost hope when all the crazy stuff went down with them. I can truly say that it was their message about Christ back then that gave me direction and grounded me to one day get saved!! Today, I'm 43 and I have a beautiful family, a killer studio with guitars I only dreamed about back then, and I owe it all to Jesus!!! Thank GOD for inspiring Stryper to do what they've done!! Rock On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I re-uploaded this track with improved drums. I wasn't satisfied with the way they sounded.This is just the rhythm guitars(2) bass and drums. I am experimenting with different songs and sounds for my own enjoyment. I wanted to put this version up for those who need a backing track. The next version will have solos and then the 3rd version will have vocals as well. I hope you enjoy!!!

No worries........

I just have this "tweaking" mentality. I'm always re-mixing trying to improve the sound. I plan on doing more of these soon, so stay tuned! I'm currently trying to work around a messed up right wrist that hurts quite a bit. It was broken 4yrs ago and never got set. So, until I have surgery, I have days I can't play at all. As soon as I have a good day, I will add the solo and upload that as a full backing track or karaoke I guess.
