@justsayin1000 before you post something make sure you know facts, Randall Mackey was the only person on this team from Port Sulfur. The running back had already graduated, and about living with coaches, these kids that came from down south had just lost everything they owned, Bastrop had a coach that knew them personally because he coached them the year before, He was a family friend to these players and helped them in a time of need and got accused of "recruiting".

QB #1 for Bastrop AND starting RB were busted for living with coaches after bein displaced. were ruled ineligible but appealed and was allowed to play. Bastrop wouldnt be sh!t w/o them two. Shaw pretty much lost to South plaqs
