Apart from the usual amenities that you would come to expect from a social networking website like blogging, adding friends, uploading pictures & videos, and the usual other do-dads, you can also secure for yourself some extra needed cash for doing a bit of shopping, which is what the operators are hoping will set it apart from the incumbents.

Upon first glance one may say that it isn't all that, having come away with a rather unusual experience from what they've gotten used to with the more established players. But its good spots are certainly there and do shine: pictures upload really fast, the interface is light enough to browse through quickly, the controls are tight enough, then there's the ability to migrate other site interfaces through code, and the like; pretty much what you'd expect from a platform of this caliber. Really, standard fare.

Looking back, 6dgr.com is certainly not the best looking interface out there, and some of the controls do take a bit getting used to, but that can't be held against them at all. The "big 2" (MySpace, Facebook) have gotten several years' head start with which to polish and fine-tune their offerings, and it will only be a matter of time before these newcomers get their engine running just right. The idea is though, it's best to jump in and give them a test run now, before everyone starts talking about it and you end up with that old feeling that you should have been there a lot earlier...

If we were to score it, without the cash incentive, a good 6 out of 10 stars would likely be fair; but earning money being the main driving force behind the gears of this particular machine, and it will be difficult for anyone to want to try and stop it. Plus, it's the researching and otherwise "hacking" to figure out the cool little knacks about it - what makes it tick - that will be sure to keep persons interested - and paid, for a very very long time to come, residually. Final verdict: 8 out of 10 stars!
