Horizontal Planes is based on the idea of how we can exist within in horizontal power structures as opposed to hierarchical power structures. Each and every one of us has multiple layers of references and sources, confirming our position as the product of a collective whole. This raises the question of how the dancer, as an individual, can merge into a new fluid and expanding whole
consisting of assorted bodies.
