So helm60...how would you rate this guitar? You play well and everything sounds great, but is there a big difference compared to some of the pricier / top end models? Speel je ook af en toe met de gypsy virtuosos in Holland? Greeting from Florida!

there is a litle difference between the pricer top end

models and the saga. the higher top ends has more mids

the real gypsy sound.i play with a piezo to a mixer

with more mids setting. by the way where did you learn write in dutch.ik heb wel een optreden gehad waarbij het rosenberg trio ook aanwezig was maar niet samen gespeeld

in holland 20 euro is about 25 usa dollar.

I love my dg 255, had it since '06 and can't say enough good things about it. I have played some other inexpensive gypsy guitars and they all sound like crap.

I just got one a week ago. it sounds great and loud. You have to do some adjustments though.I had to lower the action, change the tuners and the tailpiece (they're quite crappy)

Ik ben Amerikaan maar mijn ouders zijn Nederlanders en ik heb ook op de HAVO gezeten, maar tegenwoordig is dat geen garantie wat taalbeheersing betreft..haha! Have you seen the Jimmy Rosenberg documentary by the way? What happened to that poor kid? I always liked his no holds barred style of playing.....
