@Mirpuria also i want to mention one more thing abt greatness of punjabi, like the poets singers like ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan also used to sing 90% of his songs in Punjabi rather than pathetic so called respectful urdu language, but i want to mention here that Punjabi is no disrespectful, its our mother tongue so we should serve it, because it has given us so much happiness,90% freedom fighters were from punjab,

ramayan,kuran,mahabharat,Guru Granth Sahib,Puran all were written in punjab...

@Mirpuria mind your words abt PUNJABI plz,it is language of five rivers,the sweetness and deepness that punjabi has,no other language have,can u find a word more sweeter than bebay,ambo,ambey,baabul,bapu, harsh or bad words are also there in urdu as in any other language there are world famous poetry in punjabi like bulleh shah,waris shah,they also knew urdu but they wrote in punjabi because it has more wider and deeper words than urdu,urdu has no essence even urdu poetry is without sweetness..

@Mirpuria ..maybe thats how punjabi is spoken in your family.. but in our family we speak punjabi and we give respect to every one as grandma biji.. grandfather papaji... father.. pitah ji..mother mata ji.. no language is disrespectfull.. but its the family bringing that makes you speak bad words and good words.
