  • Wow. The lengths some people go to, to get an upgrade!

    .:-)

Seriously though, well done to midwife Vicki - I've read her own account of this and it is a great lesson to all TV film-makers: all you need in birth most of the time is a quiet private space and a well-trained midwife.

But what will they put for "place of birth" on the baby's birth certificate?

  • Hey that is MY midwife!!! She is awesome and could help a woman have her baby successfully anywhere!

What an amazing thing to have happen in the air!

  • @ sarahcyn, All airlines carry their home country's flag as part of their livery somewhere on their aircraft. This means that the plane is regarded as korean soil in this case. Therefore this baby will have Korean Citizenship. HOWEVER, each airline is different and whilst some will put the home country as the birthplace, it is much more common for a birth certificate in this case to have the place of birth as the Origin of the flight, or departure location.

  • You are an angel Vicki!
