Figures this poor-at-math guy would support a tax that would raise the amount HE would end up paying in federal taxes.
According to Americans for Fair Taxation's own research, on average those making from $15,000 to $150,000 a year would pay more in federal taxes, those making more than $150,000 would pay much less, and the poor (less than $15,000 income) would be slightly better off (a few hundred $).
ThE "Fair"Tax is a bad idea that will never be enacted, thank goodness.

Fairtax is a fairy tale -- its gets most of its money from an insane tax on all governmenet spending. Just tax governments when they SPEND money.
Thats as fucking stupid as charging the government an income tax when they GET money.
Its really that fucking bogus -- they have to pretend to tax the government -- cause without that, they would have to admit the tax rate is 90%,

Joe means well -- he just has no idea these Fairtax is literally a farce. They aren't serious about passing it -- they won't even have hearings under oath.
In the fine print, its a massive new HIDDEN tax on the government - -cities and states have to pay this too. No wonder they hide it - they know its crap.
Joe needs to read a lot more, and think a lot more. Joe, trust but verify -- don't get taken in by bullshit.
