@masterjon3 Ghosts can manifest ghostly objects they had on them,such as clothing items or vehicles. Thus the conductor who died was powerful enough to manifest the train

@ShadowSonic2 It may have if Egon switched the beams to have an effect on solid manifestations instead of transparent ghosts since that was not what they were dealing with. But, you can never be too prepared. They could have still fallen into the slime anyway. But, then again...maybe its good they didn't have the packs. After they got out of the slime, they almost killed each other just but fighting.
