@butterflyloveppg772 he had a heart problem all his life and nearly died 3 times, then his heart stopped later Christmas day, his heart muscle was too thick which made the heart work faster, it was a very dangerous and life threatening disease, RIP! xo

Rest in peace is an ancient prayer for the dead to be forgiven for all sin and enter the vision of God in heaven. It goes back to Isaiah 57:2 "Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death" (ISV) and Revelations 14:13 " Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on: Yea, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them" (KJV 2000). RIP is beseeching God to fulfill his promise of peace for this deceased person.
