This question is yet to be answered. Fog Probably did set it off, but there were other factors involved that could have done it.

Enjoy!

  • if the smoke detector set off and you knew your fog set it off, you should call the Non-emergency number, and tell them that it is a false alarm.

  • Yeah, the hall tried that and no answer :(

  • if u changed the music would they still be doing the boodie dance?

  • I had a gig for a school dance about 2 years ago, my experience was not great so I've opted out of high school dances. Most of the time everything goes according to plan, but every now and then you get a hick up and its just not worth the money they pay. My suggestion would be, try and get a fair and honest pay that balances out the crap we have to put up with.

  • The alarm went off because the kids were just acting TOO HOT. You should have shut the whole lot off (or played something really old, like 70's), promiscuity alert!

  • Some systems alarms are on the same power circuit, so equipment could trigger the alarms... thats what constantly happened to us

  • lol isnt it about time to buy a new car? XD

  • the amount of discos ive been to and this has happened is ridiculous, as for the 'grinding' yeah i feel uncomfortable with it but all we can do is just turn a blind eye, because well were paid to play, not to enforce as you said, we dont have an 'ultimate control' sorry for the not so great gig

  • you need to buy a haze machine brian mate, fog/smoke is thick and so fire alarms detect it as haze is a lot finer and thinner so fire alarms detect less or none of it. and yeh its always good to ask the people at the club about fire alarms and gear and so on... liking your vids brian, cheers :P

  • haha this is funny

  • man this video is too funny! hahaha made my night. giant age wet tshirt hahah

  • yeah that happens usually about every winter...when the heat is turned on it will burn some dust on the heating coils that have not been used all summer... the detector that catches it is called a duct detector... located usually in the attick... it is mounted on the side of an air duct and samples all the air that runs through it
