just did it and nothing i mean if i no that its the screen i will get a new one but i don't wuna buy a new one and not have it work

i hear you there ... ok... let see you it the laptop turning on? do lights come on & can you hear the fan & hard drive spinning? do it beep? can you hear windows tune? if you hear windows type in your password & hit enter & wait ... do you hear your desk top screen load & beep in? if so its loading & its the screen ... no one at school or work a computer nerd? i'd ask friends if they know anyone.

also, keep hitting that Ctrl & F4 repeatly til your screen / monitor comes on ... i really don't know what else to say : (

ya but how did you convert the screen to the desk top screen ?

did you try taking the battery out & running it without the battery? when batteries die they do that too.

i have the same lap top and it has a blank black screen is their a way i can hook it of to a desk top monitor like you have

i just plugged the monitor in on the side of my laptop & the laptop recognized it & the monitor came on ... did you try hitting( Fn + F4 ) buttons at the same time? those are the screen/monitor off/on buttons ... i had to hit my a few times til my screen came on ... & i mean a few times repeatly til it came on ...
