Record Xbox 360 Gameplay On A MacBook Pro With SlingBox *TEST*

This is a test video as I've been testing different methods of recording my Xbox 360 gameplay with my MacBook Pro. I began this adventure using my Elgato EyeTV Hybrid but that method only allows for 4:3 video input to the device using the composite cables. What this means is that you have to also game in standard definition which is not something I am willing to do.
Using my SlingBox Pro, allows me to still game in high definition by using the SlingBox as a video pass-through and I simply use either Screenflick or Snapz Pro X in good quality, and still maintain the 16:9 aspect ratio.
This being my first test of this method, I still have some kinks to work out before I consider it a resounding success.

A few questions Doug.

1. Does it lagg, if so is it easy to fix?

2. What are you screen recording with, I use Camtasia would that be good enough?

3. Is audio an issue when recording gameplay?

1) Yes. Use a fast computer, super fast and also try 60fps capture if your software has that option.

2) iShowUHD. Maybe. Haven't owned or used Camtasia in many, many years.

Dropped frames due to having the screen capture at 30fps, and not 60fps.

@DizzyDougTV hey i was actualy thinking about purchasing the slingbox hd pro along with a screen captuing device for the mac but i had a few questions:

does it matter what type of slinbox you get?

is screenflik the best mac recording device for video?(is screen mimic perhaps any better?)

are there any cheaper ways out with still a good quality youtube video?(720p)

and why didnt you turn the screen capture to 60fps?
