Redwoods National Park is north of SF but is not in Redwood City. It is part of Humboldt and Del Norte County and is part of the "Six Sisters" forrest range which borders Oregon ;)

oh, ok, that's weird cause when I went camping the 1st and 2nd time, I thought it was North, haha =)
but I have been to Big Basin, 3rd camping trip, and that's south of SF

Redwood City, The R dub C, 94063 is 22 miles south of San Francisco ON the SF Peninsula. It is between San Carlos, The SC, 94070 to the north, and Menlo Park 94025 to the south. And it does not have a beach, unless you count the salt flats or the marsh at the end of Marsh Road.
