@CamhskKhs .... i got this pipe off of radiant cycles.com .... its pretty much just a hollow pipe with a very tiny baffle inside.... have gotten a custom map and tuned it so its running super good!! ... after 6000rpm it ROARS

@zakprodigymella ... its bolt on... i do have a power commander installed with a custom map so everything is running good! .... all that shit about back pressure and valves burning up is a bunch of BS. I won't lie, I did lose a little bit bottom end torque... which was expected... and when i went for a recent oil change at the local yamaha dealer... the mechanic there said the bike is running pretty rich, if anything!

@gilerajay172 ... honestly man I have been running this pipe for a few years now.. and every time i take it into my local yamaha dealership for tune up and oil change etc.. they always say its running top notch. The mechanic there actually told me that with this pipe my bike was actually running more rich if anything... and that the whole back pressure shit is a myth. As long as the pipe coming off your header isn't as small as nickel or something ridiculous like that you should be good to go!

It's just bolt on I have an 11 R6 I have the shorty on mine but I took the Cadillac converter off so there's no baffle and it sounds like a monster! You can hear it a good 5-8 miles out away from it when I'm on the throttle :)

Sorry if you answered this question already but I have an 01 R6 and I wanna run a shorty as well. Is there any additional tuning or parts that will be needed for that exhaust or is it just bolt on and go? I ask because I hear all this talk about back pressure, valves, etc. Thumbs up on your bike as well, love what you have done with it.
