  • @sketchbook1 So is it your assertion that the Canons of Dordt misused scripture to support their beliefs? Please, show me how they did, I'm all ears. I want exegetical argumentation and reasons. Good luck :)

  • @skalapunk Actually, your history is almost right-- Yes, the TULIP was a Calvinistic response to the Arminians 5 Points of the Remonstrants... BUT those 5 Points were Scriptural responses and denials of certain problems with Calvinism... TULIP responded, yes, but the Arminians' 5 Points responded to heresy first!

  • @griffinb2008

    haha soo true.

  • This man is a Pelagian heretic. It's easy to refute Total Depravity. Just deny original sin!

  • At around 5:07 he says Calvinists submit their reason to the points of Calvinism rather than scripture.

This is silly, because the points of Calvinism (TULIP) was never a positive affirmation of beliefs, but was instead a negative response to the Arminians 5 point remonstrance. The 5 points of TULIP were simply scriptural responses to and denials of the 5 points of Arminianism. You can see this for yourself in the Canons of Dordt which can be viewed for free on the internet.
