A California Carol

When Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed the Democratic budget solution last week, he gave a lump of coal to every Californian. His veto places the state in danger of bankruptcy as Arnold demands spending cuts and rollbacks of laws protecting workers and the environment.

Arnold has become California's own Ebenezer Scrooge.

All of the costs of welfare, healthcare, education, and the legal expenses caused by illegal immigration have tipped the scales in California. I guess they could raise taxes on those Hollywood liberals to bail them out of this crisis.

Arnold is an idiot. As far as immigration goes, the U.S. has an ass-backwards immigration policy so that corporations can hire cheap workers. The public is generally anti-immigrant so they have to act like they are doing something about it, like the I.C.E Raids. The situation is more complicated than just "They are illegal so they shouldn't be here." Don't blindly trust the law.

By 'supporting Illegals', do you mean the people that do the crappy jobs that most Americans would scoff at? Do you mean the people that pay into social security and never see a dime of it... like the Braceros allowed in to the US to 'help with the war effort'- till the 1960's?
