pyrodex and the various substitutes dont work so well in flintlocks, they have a much higher flash point than BP. i would try BBP and see if that helps.

Which traditions flintlock is this? I've been looking to buy the Pennsylvania. Thats a really quick fuse time, did you put in a different touch liner? I've heard people complain about Traditions locks, any comments?

How do you get fast ignition speed? I have been using ff pyrodex in the barrel and ffff in the pan. Does your fff in the main charge ignite faster? Please send me an email

its the Kentucky. I use an RMC touch hole liner. No complaints about the lock or even the frizzen. i use flints made by the name of rich pierce.
