The Now Generation Come Together

The Now Generation were a session group from Nashville led by musician/producer Bobby Russell. They recorded several albums in the late 1960's and early 1970's of cover material. Some of Nashville's finest musicians recorded with the group such as Charlie McCoy, Hargus "Pig" Robbins & Kenny Buttrey. Jimmy Buffett appeared on two of the group's albums including this one. Buffett can be seen on the album cover pictured at the top and to the far right. Their record label Spar, went out of business around 1975.
