@deathbyhighfashion English horn? The double reed instrument? That would be weird. It's written for French horn.

@deathbyhighfashion yes it is beautiful. I just didn't enjoy practicing it over and over and over and over and over.......

@SKiPPY3553 It sounds way better with an english horn, if that was indeed a french horn. (I am unable to hear properly... it was pretty muffled) And the soloist wasn't particularly expressive, on top of lacking in tone quality.

@65Hog I completely disagree. The slower part is arguably one of the most beautiful parts of the piece.

this is the best hounds of spring so far on youtube. all of you other guys sound horrible compared to this.
