After a pretty smooth approach into Weeze , this Ryanair 737-800 made a hard landing. After it touched down it bounced back up in the air and then came down with another bump, which was followed by a bad humor

  • Captain might have needed a few extra landings for currency. :) Truth is that once those giant spoilers come out the plane isn't going anywhere but on the mains. They help make ugly landings nicer. Now you want to see some bounces you should see some of my landings when I had the Aeronca.

  • That wasn't too hard at all!!!

  • @stevenaviator I just flew to Dublin airport from Luton with Ryanair, and I can tell you I had the same experience as you. The landing was completely unacceptable lol. The aircraft actually bounced up after the initial touchdown. I thought that was bad, but on my return to Luton Airport the landing was worse! The landing only looks normal because the video makes it out that way. I think Ryanair employ the worst pilots, or maybe we've had the same pilots on our flights lool....

  • A little overspeed at landing......?

  • this is a cheap airline :P

  • fuck me we have arrived safely

  • Thank you for flying Ryanair...

  • Okay it was a hard landing - but on the other hand on this day there were a turbulent weather too.

  • the video is too long.

  • It didn't jump, the springs/shocks on the landing gear just first retracted and then extended again.

  • Too much patato juice
