I had a teacher that was in this same orchestra. He played the viola. He's fantastic!

Lowell Orchestra 1970 trip to Japan. Ozawa as guest conductor in the S.F: Opera House (was a long time ago). 40th anniversary of that trip summer of 2010. The spirit we had back then was still alive, making us forget all those years in between. Not all of us had careers in music, but all of us had "the music". Programs like the SF Youth Orchestra now and the Lowell Orchestra back then are so important for the personal growth of these kids and for the rest of their lives. BRAVO SF!

omg this is like the orchestral equivalent of icc (indianapolis childrens choir). what a high level of artistry and excellence. yet it is fully enjoyed by the performers
