Panera Bread 255 East Ash Avenue Decatur Illinois willfully and maliciously violates the Americans with Disabilities Act by not allowing disabled people to enjoy their facility. They have NO handicapped parking, no automatic doors, an open fireplace making it virtually impossible for someone with an oxygen tank from going there. When informed they are violating the ADA the manager, Mike, responded with, show me a Doctors order that you need to use that vaporizer... So does that mean, they have to violate doctor patient confidentiality and the Privacy Act with everyone? Is his response, show us a Doctors orders that since you are a paraplegic you NEED to use that wheelchair and we'll install automatic doors, ramps, and handicapped parking spots? The ADA is LAW and ALL businesses operating in the United States are required to obey it. Do NOT go to Panera Bread, and tell your friends to boycott Panera Bread until they start operating LEGALLY in the US and stop forcing Disabled Patrons to LEAVE the premises!!
