"Rare" Early Kenny Chesney Recordings.

His music career started by playing tunes at local places around Johnson City like Chucky's Trading Post, a small Mexican restaurant,Quarterbacks BBQ and The TuLaFe college bar. He recorded his first album in 1991 at Classic Recording Studio in Bristol, Virginia. A thousand copies were made and Chesney sold them at his busking gigs. His album sales helped in buying himself a new Martin guitar.

  • vikingfoball, sang by anyone else woulda have made this song bearable...Chesney is a bald ball-licker that crucifies any song he plays/sings...he's just dreadful and butchers everything he touches. Even shyt he hasn't "allegedly", (LOL) written, (What a joke).

  • Thank you so much for sharing these old songs... I love them more than the current album!!

  • yes their version rocks!!!

  • i prefer it over tanya's version after i've heard so many times, the girl's part could have been sung by someone different to make it superb

  • This is neat , thanks. Also interesting because Paul Overstreet wrote this song- as well as "She Thinks My Tractor is Sexy"- both recorded by Kenny.

  • where can i get this song at?

  • never heard this song but i love his muisc

  • this is ok I love the hit from the 1980's by Tanya Tucker
