2004 Mustang 3.9 V6 MP90 Gen IV Eaton supercharged w/Mac Cat-Back dual exhaust. True dual exhaust, no "Y" pipe, dual pipes from motor all the way back. CRANK UP THE VOLUME FOR THIS!!!

  • Definitely a difference in sound quality and especially performance.

  • Definitely better to split the pipes, any muffler shop can do it easily, just get the MAC dual kit for the 99-04 V6 plus you will need a hangar kit for the side that has no exhaust from the factory. I used a hangar kit from Pypes exhaust.

  • Does it have any sort of mufflers, like Glasspacks, flows, or is it a straight 2.5in pipe?

  • It's a MAC cat-back like it says in the title so it has MAC mufflers...

  • is the pop nose caused by the true dual / no h pipe

  • pop like that in any exhaust is from raw fuel igniting in the exhaust when the throttle snaps shut.

  • nice sounding v6... need my to sound like that

  • @Ltngdrvr There's really no difference in sound quality if you were to stay with the y pipe. It should be louder with an H pipe though.

  • So what's better a y pipe or split? I wanna make my v6 3.9 sound like that

  • How much horsepower did you gain from the two mufflers?
