As a child living there in the '90s I used to play outside of my home everyday. Here, in California, you have to be weary of you child's safety. Overthere, my family used to interact with their friends almost everyday. Here, it is far from being close. So, in a way I do miss the lifestyle of Dhahran despite post-9/11.
