After a long time, I finally found a subbed version of Hoshi no Kioku. Hopefully this time, the sound is in sync. Well I had to re-encode the video file because it was in mkv. Youtube doesn't take mkv right? Well whatever.

Oh well, maybe Yukari took her there, she did take an army to the moon once, so I guess it's possible.

They could have just said that in the anime though...

but I had the impression they had been on the moon for many hours, maybe even more than a day, how fast does one have to fly to get to the moon in one day?

... yeah, just did the math, forget it, I was thinking of something like 4 to 5 thousand km/h but turns out it's well over 10000

Agree with you on the Wolverine part (although her "healing" is much more powerful, it's basically the same concept), I actually imagined she would aim at the moon and hope she landed on it before launching herself that way, or maybe her healing would be enough to keep her councious somehow (unlikely).

About the distance, was it really such short time?

I don't remember the move so exactly anymore nor can I watch it right now(to be continued)

Yes, she can. But to cover 406700km max. distance in a short time? Mokou is not Aya.

Mokou's immortality is like being Wolverine, NOT having God mode on. Sure, she'd freeze up and suffocate upon exiting the atmosphere, but she needs incredible luck for her lifeless body land in a safe place like the moon station to regenerate, or risk drifting away in space.

TL;DR If the fanime showed how she got to the moon, we wouldn't have this conversation.
