when Urban Cowboy came out, Johnny was a featured performer in Gilley's house band. Became a household name. That s how big CowBoy was. Johnny was on his way. Downfall!!!!!the night he apperaed on nationial TV with the drink spill down the front of his shirt. By thw way? Where's Charlene Tifton? mmmm How the mighty falls. Johnny, you re a great talent. You helped make the UB what it was and what it still is today. Thanks a bunch love ya, your friend. Starr

"Lookin' For Love" brings back some great memories. I wish they would re-release the album of the same title on CD.

Well, I´m from Mexico and I absolutely love this song. Love it since I saw Urban Cowboy when I was 11 years old. My dad even took us to Gilley´s one summer while vacationing in Houston, Tx. got a chance there to ride the mechanic bull for the first time... what a time!

This is CLASS with a capital C!!! I was a kid of the 60's and a Beatle fanatic and yet this guy really captures my attention. Guys like this are gifted.
You either have it or you don't--they ain't no pretending in this area. These half wits, no talents, and musical dropouts you see dancing all over stage today are an insult to world class musicians like this. Thanks Johnny for these
songs as it gave me an appreciation for the country side of music I was not into in my early years. Kenn
