In this video I do another burn test with my Froup (FRuit + sOUP) stove using 59 grams of twigs.

The Froup stove is a "batch-loaded, inverted down-draft gassifier" made from Del Monte fruit can and a Campbell's sooup can. Both cans are the ones with the pull-tab lids.

  • nice

  • and my previous question is answered! lol great Froup video! Spam and eggs! Apple wood smoke would be a bonus...

  • Lots of charcoal, must be oxygen deficient. Looks sensitive to air movement, can be blown out easily.

  • Wilber fuel tablets, another fine product from Mr. Ed industries! ;) Note: almost no horses were harmed in the production of these fuel tablets!

  • That's the burn we saw from your first test. Good one!

  • love the froup stove! made one myself after watching your first vid. very easy way to get all your tollerences just right. sprayed my cans with high heat exaust paint after the first burn to keep the metal from oxidizing too fast.

  • All the burn tests will help keep the yard picked up.

  • Nice work!

I've had success laying a birthday candle sideways on top of the sticks.

  • Yes sir, I'll be making this!

  • That sticky substance, residue,is the same stuff that causes chimney fires in wood and petroleum burning systems.
