Visual samplers, eh? You must be a VJ or video artist then... me too. ;-)
In the case of the Tenori, you load the samples by converting .WAV files to .TRW files with their utility, and then putting them on the SD card for the Tenori.
They are each 1 second "hit" samples. You can have 3 banks X 16 of them

Sorry man, have no idea!
I'm just a big fan of Tortoise and happen to love the song lol!
If it's anything like the visual samplers I've fiddled with it's probably recorded on the fly and then messed with
-
Oh, I see. Well still that's good!
If he's a drummer, it's probably a loop of his drums
I like to sample drums too. Am glad there is that ability is here, even if it is limited!
(Every synth should allow it.)
Researching, might buy one.
now getting technical -
Do you know if the sample sets can be loaded up automatically WITH the Song data, or would two Loads be required to ready a sample heavy track?
-
it's a sample from the Tortoise song 'Seneca'
-
I like this tribal drumming, most others sound very electro - are these the onboard sounds being used?
-
Complimenti !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
