The post-9/11 secret world is fraught with intrigue, paranoia and anxiety. Led by the USA the great nations of the free world are constantly on the look-out for possible terror suspects both within their own borders and abroad, particularly in the Middle East. This is the story of Mamdouh Habib, a well-travelled object of secret-service suspicion. He was born in Afghanistan but now has Australian citizenship, as well as a place among the fears of the Australian people. This short film explores his experiences while he was kept in custody in Egypt, Pakistan and the United States and, in particular, the possibility that Australia a nd the USA colluded in handing over Habib to the Egyptians, a state renowned for its barbaric methods of interrogation. With insightful and detailed interviews with Habib, as well as the key players in the saga including Australian security and the CIA, this extraordinary documentary gets right to the heart of the infinitely intriguing Mamdouh Habib story.

Habib was arrested on a bus exiting Afganistan heading to Karachi, Pakistan, in 2001. He was transferred to Camp X-Ray in 2002. And should have stayed there. Now Muslim lefties are egging him to making compalints. WHAT A FUCKING TERRORIST PARASITE!

Yeah, he hates the aussie government.

@JUZ75V uhh dude, Mamdouh said that he hated Australian Government and went off to Pakistan with his big mouth. The Pakistani's thought he was a terrorist and locked him to "the bay". He was crying and sent a letter to the Australian Government and to my surprise they let him free. This man is not a terrorist but rather moron would describe him better

Mumdouh Habib was released due to the fact that the United States was being taken to court by Mumdouh Habib and Family.
The actual reason why he was released is because they had no actual reason for detaining him in the first place. This is FACT. Therefore, he is no Terrorist.
In all actuality, if someone labels him a "Terrorists", then this automatically deems that someone to be selfish, shallow minded and un-Australian. Isn't being Australian also about giving someone a "Fair Go"?

@dunhillmatrox
He is a primitive man with simple education, so he hasn't heard or understood seatbelts yet. Or maybe he has when he was chauffeur for Osama Bin Shit Tin so he could bail quick in an ambush
