Oliver Cromwell on the Norfolkman

Britannia class 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' finally back on the GE main line on a fantastic run from London to Norwich and return on the "Norfolkman". I am told by a good source that it was the only thing to run on time all day ! Arriving two minutes ealry into Norwich & London on both trips.

Thanks. Great locomotive which we enjoyed riding behind on 20 September Liverpool Street to Norwich and back. One or two of the photographers on the slope of the opposite platform are surely in danger. One steps within the 'loading gauge'. He could easily be struck from behind by a train while his attention was all on getting his picture of 70013. Looks bad to me...

There are one or two things i would like to shout about regarding this. I shall be writing a letter to Steam Railway magazine about the amount of PRATS who flaut the law by standing too dam close to trackside. But like someone pointed out to me, they are the ones who will come off worse.
