This Is My Father's World, Fernando Ortega

This contemporary rendering of an old hymn is by Fernando Ortega. When I was a young adult, my father used to ask, "Why do you want to leave? You're already living in God's country!" I left home anyway. I've returned once again to live on Washington State's Olympic Peninsula and am raising my son here. Thanks Dad! You can return home as well to your Heaenly Father. He waits with open arms. Run home children of God, the Father.

I came to this song based off of that the Hobbit's theme song reminded me of it. I am 14 and have not heard this song for about 3 years. I grew up with this song and will love it forever. God bless.
