  • 0:40 If only Spielberg and Lucas could think the same way.

  • Too bad he didn't live long enough for a "special edition dvd".

  • Classic interview style. Parkinson actually lets his guests speak.

  • George Lucas should watch this interview loool...

  • Why is a video about a Skinless Muscle Man the next video?

  • The man was truly ahead of his time, Hollywood destroyed because he was doing then what most filmmakers do now...everything. Write, produce, direct, act, edit back then each person was hired to do individual tasks. My favorite filmmaker.

  • Orson talks.....You listen!!!

  • @dithbmine1 "Welles was politically active from the beginning of his career. He remained a man of the left throughout his life, and always defined his political orientation as "progressive". He was a strong supporter of Franklin Roosevelt and the New Deal, and often spoke out on radio in support of progressive politics."

    youmad? c:

  • I'm in agreement with Orson. There's no point to watching or reading your own work afters its been published. After all, the thing that keeps us watching a good film over and over again is its mystery as we try to unravel the details. When the film is your own, there is no mystery, as you know every single detail.

  • @KingCrab35 Just what I was thinking!

  • @KingCrab35 yes but they are liberals,,,,,,,,,,This man is NOT>.thank GOD.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH the French

  • Yeah it would seem that if you had made a movie and were there for the whole duration of filming and knew all the mistakes. When you eventually see the finished version all you could think about would be the things that you COULD HAVE fixed.

That would drive me crazy. I would never be able to watch any movies that I've created more than once.

  • that just blew me away...

  • No, I'm afraid that both Spielberg and Lucas are too self-centered to behave in such a way.

  • Welles did try to re-edit Touch of Evil, though.

  • This clip holds critical information for any honest actor/movie maker.

  • Parkinson is so young, geez!

  • Man, I've never thought about movies that way before. His perspective is cool.

  • does anyone have the full interview?
