Chevy Silverado Hybrid - Instant Impression

It doesn't exactly seem like a match made in heaven: a massive General Motors truck and an advanced hybrid power train. But, when you consider the copious amounts of gas the Silverado normally chugs down, the hybrid system starts to make sense. Still, the system is far from perfect, and we've got a bone to pick with a bizarre noise inside the dash.

Nice review and as far as the noise goes... GM is finally sick of hearing how all thier vehicles get squeaks and rattles in the dash after a few years so they have put a little helper Monkey behind the dash with an electric impact gun and that is the sound of him retorquing all the dash fasteners.

My 2000 silverado with the 4.8 gets around 30 if your light on the gas. Makes you wonder what this truck could really get??
