This is a great folk/rock odyssey, love it so much! My father has Jethro Tull cd's in his collection, I've listened to them a few years ago when I was 15-16 or so and looking back on it it has very much influenced me in my music taste. Jethro Tulls songwriting is great.

Long live Tull and the LONG version of this song!

Saw Aqualung live at the Albuquerque civic auditorium around 1970 or so. I was 13. Blew my mind. I have every vinyl LP they ever put out. I am now 54 (!) and still love this band. I'm happy when I read that younger listeners are discovering some of the great old bands. Check out "thick as a brick" a total masterpiece. This is what rock was meant to be! MUSIC. CREATIVITY. MUSICIANS who actually can play instruments. Not products for selling pepsi.

prog-rock or proto-folk-metal. The next song on MITG is 'Cold Wind to Valhalla' which evinces it is an early contribution to folk metal. I'm 29 and just turned on to them about 2 months ago. Redundant to say, they are amazing.

Good to hear the younger generation is enjoying our older generation music, we now have a chance of keeping our music alive and kicking butt.
