Thank you GUNNISONDUDE for this personal letter from "The Hi-Fives":
I'm Terri from the Hi-Fives. Yes, this is the same group that performed "My Friend". We have incorporated "Dorothy" and the flip side "Just A Shoulder To Cry On" in our repertoire which were No. 1 and 2 on the charts in 1958. Rich, our bass vocal, is an original member of the Hi-Fives which was formed in 1957. We re-formed the group again in 2005 and have been performing mostly in South Jersey. Please feel free to look through our web site at WWW.THEHIFIVES.COM and contact any of us. We also have our schedule of public places where we will be performing.

  • Lead singer is David Brigati, his brother.

  • What ever happened to the group? I tried a search but only the new group pops up.

  • Hey these whites guys are good Doo Woppers

  • Excellent !!

  • GREAT!!!!

  • Yes I do believe David is singing lead on Face of an Angle. David actually sang lead on a few Joey Dee songs.

  • I thought so! Is'nt David singing lead on Face Of An Angel - Joey Dee & Starliters?

  • @thebigfist

It's not Eddie Brigati on lead it's his brother David that went on to be one of Joey Dee's Starliters.

  • Great doo wop effort with very good Eddie Brigati lead out in front.
