This is a tune I wrote using my ada mp-1 preamp and the vht 2502 poweramp thru a 1x12 v30 recto cab. Recorded in my basement. Hope you likes it and feel free to comment. :0)

hi there, did you get to compare the VHT 2502 with the 2902 when you bought your power amp?

there's not much difference in the price, just wondering what the differences are tonal wise between them?

No I didn't but in general the 2502 are suppose to be warmer for some reason.

Hm good sounding! But i own mp1 too & its not even close to this... its too muddy & cant ge trid of those glassy highs freq. What eq u used & are u using any mods? Maybe my tubes are old....got the buy new one.

I got two ADA MP-1's and chased down the 3 Tube Mod Boards and did the installs they sound liike my Mark V amp now. The boards are not all that easy to install just check how many on ebay being sold "as is" because their

"friend" tried to modify it and its dead. If you aren't into doing electronic builds its not a first project but damn they sound totally different with the 3 tube modification done correctly. I did the wiring plus cap and diode upgrades also its worth the money-love the VHT
