Though, I have to agree with heavier racquets helping me... I mean, I just demoed a technifibre t-fight 550, (the one wit that crazy nice cosmetic and the SAMURAIS XD) its 11.3 oz, 16x20 string pattern (i play spin) and I can feel massive difference in it, i mean, wow... it feel so good wen i swing o_O thanks avery 4 speaking heavier racquets.... cuz, well, my racquet is actually 9.3 meaning, 2 much power but no control... I out everything wen i followthrough o_O

I gotta ask, why does it gotta b avery's? i mean, even good ol' tom uses a couple wilsons, it is more on personal taste than anything else. Also, on habit, I got a k(factor) pro.six team (the one you could buy at any wholesale place, say costco or BJ's) and its 9.8 oz, I try as hard 2 follow thru, so, is an avery my pik? probably not. It is all on preference, and it just so happened that i was blessed to even use a racquet XD

With all do respect to Mr. Avery. He's a very fine coach, and have learned a lot, but there is no way on hell, or heaven that I 'll trade my Wilson BLX 6.1 95 for this one. The BLX 6.1 95 is just about the "perfect" racquet .
The bottom line is this; "if it ain't broke don't fix it".. if you have a racquet that works for you, why switch? That said, it's been my experience as a teaching professional that my students do much better with a heftier, head light, well balanced frame like AVERY. I also think the majority of players would also benefit. All the best and happy hitting, Tom Avery
