This is a Turkish Get Up with a 95 lb. kettlebell performed on my weaker left side. My current goal is 120 pounds.

  • Nice job! I'm working on the Beast right now. How do you feel about floor pressing it from the start?

  • I don't prefer floor pressing it, as that is the most likely point of injury. Particularly since when you go to the barbell you could be handling a lot of weight. It's a bad cost vs. benefit scenario.

    BTW, I was a Kajunkenbo guy as well back in the 90's under Sifu Purvis.
