Hows those unclipped wings working out for you? Mine is 7 months old and after about 6 weeks of great flight I had to clip the first 5 primary feathers. She can still fly, but not like she could before. Problem was she was doing laps, getting on to things and tearing up stuff. Couldn't have that going on. I agree birds should fly, but doing laps around the house is a not what I had in mind when I made the purchase.

@zemro535 My birds have never given me reason to consider clipping their feathers, really. They will fly between their favourite spots, but that's about it. This one even prefers walking :)
I'm glad that your bird hasn't completely lost the ability to fly - particularly if she's young. They need it to gain confidence early on. She's young and learning, so it's important to have patience (as always with parrots) but I'm sure she will settle down in time :)
