Thanks for your very kind comment. Teddy gives me so much pleasure, but he can be very independent too.

I'd say it's a good thing he has that independent streak. When he does things you ask, it's because he chooses to please you. ...Rosie has that independence in her too; I find it humbling when she does her best to do what I ask. And a bit proud too. When I thank and praise her, she puffs her chest up and raises her nose to the sky with a sloppy grin. So sweet...
