@eddiejl dalton had two problems, one he only starrred in two movies, two those movies flopped.

@SuperXboxrules Definitely, in 1991 and 1993 and however more if he wanted to. He had a great relationship with EON and the Boccolis. But Dalton was always a maverick about his career and moved on and has no regrets.

Fleming's Bond. Bar none. Excellent tribute. Dalton IS the Bond that defines the role.

If that 6yr gap never existed he'd possibly do 2-3 more movies.

Best tribute of timothy dalton as bond, i love licence to kill and the livning daylights, best 2 two i have seen and grew up with. most of all the music is badass, something i can never forget and hope to show my kids someday.

@McLarenMercedes he was suppose to be in "Colonel Sun." But then the idea turned into Golden Eye. But his contract expired and i think he wanted out.

The above statement is so very true. I am glad i am not the only one who likes him as Bond. In fact Timothy Dalton is such as great actor, with true class.

dalton was head and shoulders above brosnan as bond.superior actor and brought back the steel in the character which connery had. In fact , everybody raves about craigs hard nosed bond !......they had it 20yrs ago in dalton ! the looks , the quips ( timing that is ) , they deliberately underplayed daltons image as they couldnt wait to get brosnan from his remington steele contract ?
