@atomicsaladbowl furthering the authors description, palm nailers are basically compact jackhammers with a valve that only starts it if pressure is applied. one preoble one might run into with these as with any other ailer is blowing out seals, which can be replaced. there are no other major flaws with these tools thanks to their simple construction

tough to injure yerself with a palm nailer and you shouldn't wish harm on anyone, that said, yeah that compressor is cranked to 150 psi, lol.

This guy has his compressor cranked up WAY TOO MUCH. It should take about 2 whole seconds for each nail.
I hope he injures himself before some 10 year old kid accidentally picks it up

If you dont mind me asking, can I ask how much you paid for that and where you bought it? That thing really is badass!
hi, I was curious about these palm nailers, when you hook them up to your compressor, do they vibrate and pound the nail in? it seems like it works pretty fast, can you describe how it works, and also, any flaws or bad things about it?

Hi, it basically has a piston at the end that hammers the nail in with very little effort. The nail is held in place via magnets. I used it to frame a built in entertainment center and it worked beautifully. I could have used a hammer or screws for that matter but the palm nailer is much more fun. It's really designed to be used in areas that are difficult to access; overheads and such but you can use it for anything. Hope this answers your questions.
