This animation is a fragment of "El Doctor Loco" (Doctor Insane); a theatrical collaboration between the Trans House (Quito, Ecuador) and TransAction Theatre Company (Manchester, UK). It is part of the 2010 Trans October - Stop Trans Pathologization Campaign.

  • How bizarre is this...don't get it.

  • @Anzetseify : Anzetseify, I guess it's quite culturally specific and you probably do not understand many of the jokes as they are quite Latin American in style and humour. In essence this is is a critique of western medical models of transsexuality that are non-applicable and indeed absurd in places like the Ecuadorian province of Manabi. In such places trans existence has nothing to do with psyquiatrists, hormones and let alone sex reassignment surgeries. .
