It's a tragedy that the punjabis of today have no regard for their mother tongue.The people in lahore,faisalabad,pindi,islama
bad,gujrat speak urdu instead of punjabi.All the other ppl in the other provinces are proud of their mother tongues & speak them proudly but punjabis are too hesitant to speak punjabi.This is the reason why there are only 3 punjabi language channels when punjabis have the highest population whereas other ppl have less population but more channels .punjabis, speak punjabi! 1 year ago 13

well dears, if you think speaking of language can keep it alive you are wrong. Languages needs to evolve with time but unfortunately I lived 30 years in punjab all i learnt from my punjabi frds were galiyaan motti motti.
PUnjabies have not only forgot punjabi they have forgot their cultural values. and same is true for urdu speaking and others.

Very well said...We need to be proud of our language and heritage, same way pathans love and speak their language and sindhis do their. We have beautiful culture and we just lost it because of our selfish leaders who sold their souls first to mughals, then to gora sahb and then to pakistani military and civil establishment....yes Punjabis speak Punjabi, especially with eachother !!!
