@ishasojolly that's not true. Will Smith's father was around all of his childhood. His mother and father divorced when he was thirteen. But was still apart of his life. Do you research honey.

Uhh, Will's father was ALWAYS there for him, he wasn't abandoned. Idk where the hell ya'll are getting this info from but from multiple interviews, not once did Will Smith say his father wasn't there for him. He DID support him. Look up an interview on Inside the Actor's Studio. Will says he's always been on cool terms with his dad. This scene was just pure good acting.
