Fire'z Off Demo - 'Green' Fire Retardant - RDR Technologies

Fire'z Off is an all-natural, plant-based flame retardant, effective on preventing flame spread and smoke development on most paper, fabric and wood.

Fire'z Off is an environmentally-friendly fire retardant which is used to retard fire in all Class A materials, such as drapes, wall hangings, furniture, boxes and packing materials, fabrics and uniforms, even construction materials. Unlike many products on the market today, it is specially formulated to be non-toxic, with no PBDE's or neurotoxins that can cause long-term damage to humans or the environment.

Fire'z Off forms a thermal insulation barrier that prevents dangerous flames form spreading. Fire'z Off also inhibits the development of toxic hydrocarbon smoke. And it is safe enough that it can be applied while people are present. It will remain effective until it is washed out. It can even be mixed with latex paint to prevent flame spread.

Just spray it on and let dry. You can also dip fabrics, wring them out and let air dry.

In this clip, we've treated several samples of paper towel, canvas cloth and balsa wood to demonstrate how Fire'z Off helps prevent flames from spreading.
