nice video thanks, i have an internal sound card with 44.1k,48k,96k,192k, and with 16bit or 24bit with all khz freq, i love meditation music at 192k but there are so few out there..

Does it make sense to convert 24bit/96 khz or higher for example from an audio-dvd to lossy audio format or is it better to convert from standard CD format to lossy audio ? Is there maybe a mathematical border for the resolution of lossy audio ? I think the encoders may get some problems by high def audio ....

@Svorn hi-def can be converted to a HD mp3 for example. but for nomal lossy, use CD

I have a question, you obviously know your stuff.

I just discovered how 16 bit / 24 bit 44.1khz 96 khz works

But where does 320kbps come in? I know flac files can be 24 bit 96 khz

But when I want to download an MP3 in Spotify it tells me 320kbps, I dont know what that means, is that as good as 24 bit? And if not, how much kbps would 24 bit be?

@paradigma there was a user on soundcloud that uploaded 96k meditation music but got the boot cause it was all licensed work and he had only changed the fhz and bit rate, i don't understand cause he wasn't profiting on it... anyways he wrote to me in mail and it came with a blu-ray disc and a letter stating he is working on making blu-ray audio discs only so i popped it in my ps3, and i have a 5.1 surround sound 1000watt system hooked up on the ps3 i was getting 48khz with 5.5mbps at liner pcm..

Ok i changed my personal preference for MP3's to 256 VBR(V0) for less artifacts ive been experiencing .
