Here's a band that played across the street from us at a club called The Penalty Box. Money. This was shot around 1982. A few years later, the Playpen in Diamond beach closed and the owner bought this club and turned it into the new Playpen. Yes, Wildwood had TWO Playpens!

  • I lived in Wildwood during the Mid seventies. My girlfriends and I lived at the box. I went out with the bass player Daniel Francis Thomas Duffy Jr. Ronnie was dating a beautiful girl named Debbie. The Wall Show was the craziest you guys wheeled a coffin down Pacific Ave..

  • I was in touch with Dan up to about 6 years ago. At the time, he was married and living out near Pittsburgh PA. His disappearance was abrupt, with a dead email and phone, so I do not know what happened. I hope he is well.

  • I remember this band as well--and wasn't there a band called Mega around the same time?

  • @wyatt10111 Yes--this was a great band, as were many back int he day. I am wishing for a time machine tonight. I stumbled on all these videos and I am having a blast from the past.

  • @seb491998 I was your Uncles roommate when he lived in Williamstown, NJ. I STILL look up to this guy. He will always remain a musical hero to me. Preston was not only a great musician, but a great person. He always treated me with respect, even when I didn't deserve it. He played in a band with me called "Hooker" just before he moved on to "Money", and he often played bass with his left hand while playing keyboard parts with his right hand! AMAZING GUY

  • This is the first time I could actually hear my uncle in the band...They broke up before I was born. My uncle is Preston Tiley. He is quite amazing. He is giving me lessons now to become like he was on bass. Right now he is teaching me drums.

  • So many memories. I remember when it was Jessie, Rod, Ronnie, Danny and Ricky. Beverley and I even moved to Wildwood to be close. Where is everyone these days?

  • I am from central PA and I was at the box every weekend the summers of 1977 and 78. Money and Supa Philly were awesome! I have so many great memories!!! If there may be another reunion...please keep me on the list! I was just down last weekend and Wildwood is looking great! So glad to see that they are trying to "keep up".

  • What the heck version of Money is this...where is Ronny Rush and Larry on the keys??? > Now 'that' was the good MONEY ;)

  • This is Dave Lauber from a band of that era called "Hooker". Preston Tiley (bass player on the USA album) was our bass player just before he joined Money. I lived with Preston in Williamstown, and I remember you (Rob) and I still have a signed copy of the USA album! LOL GREAT times back then at the box! I am still playing nearly every weekend with a cover band called "Don't Scare The Dog". My band-mates range in age from 47 to 60! hahaha
